Bradmouth Munchies: 30 Second Review of Breyers YoCrunch Cookies N' Cream Yogurt with Oreo

Ooooh Shiny!: The black packaging stands out from the glut of yogurt product offerings like Eva Longoria on Desperate Housewives. It’s exquisitely dark complexion is wildly attractive, and it’s completely surrounded by tired products wrapped in tired skin.

And there’s a candy topping strapped to the top of it! (In my case, so called Oreo cookie crumbles).

Come on baby, You Know I’ll Treat You Right: The item promises a tasty dessert with only one hundred calories per shot.  And it has Oreo goodness (at least the black cookie part). Plus it’s priced pretty close to the Yoplait and Dannon servings, which come in flavors of Pineapple, Blueberry, and Strawberry—after they’ve brewed in used tennis shoe.

Down the Hatch: So Breyers YoCrunch Cookies N’ Cream Yogurt with Oreo uses Truvia.  In the same way Coke Zero and Splenda tastes like the anti-Christ turned wine into urine, this stuff just plain doesn’t taste right. And I don’t know where they procured these “Oreo” crumbles, but I hope they have a return policy and a kind smile, otherwise demolition explosives may be prominently involved in the trans action.

Verdict: Still in my fridge two weeks later—along with the onion flavored Kool-Aid and caramel drenched anchovies.
